The Spring City UMC is currently in the process of finding someone to lead the children's ministry in our church.
Several years ago, the Staff-Parish Relations Committee identified the need for someone to develop a post-nursery program in our church to serve the families who have brought infants for Holy Baptism in our church in recent years. This program is to take place during the worship service and then pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children will leave for the program.
The Nursery was just renovated and is a full functional nursery. The nursery is filled with lots of toys and games for the kids along with plenty of seating for the help.
Each week a member of our congregation will take their turn and supervise the children in the nursery. this person will teach the Children's Ministry in the other half of the room. We anticipate this program to be a success when that person is at the helm. They will be teaching the children about God and his Word.
